- My unit is not powering on.
Check to be sure that the power cable is fully seated on the back of the radio and that the plug is inserted into the electrical wall outlet. Also check the fuse or circuit breaker to be sure it is providing current to the electrical outlet being used.
- I'm experiencing poor reception.
If you are experiencing poor reception, check the antenna connectors for full insertion seating. Your antenna orientation may not be in an optimum position. Try moving the AM and FM antennas to achieve best reception.
- I am not getting any audio.
Be sure the radio is turned on and that the volume is set at a high enough level to hear the audio.
If MUTE is shown on the bottom of the display, un-mute the radio with the remote control or just turn the volume knob to the right to cancel mute.
If you have an auxiliary device connected to the AUX IN, verify that the audio cables are connected properly and fully seated in both the radio and the auxiliary device.
If you have an auxiliary device connected to the AUX In and there is no sound coming from the radio, it is possible that the audio output level or volume on the auxiliary device is set too low...increase the audio output/volume on the auxiliary device until good audio quality is obtained on the radio.
- I have my auxiliary device connected to the AUX connection and have poor sound quality.
If the auxiliary device connected to the AUX In is set too high, the sound could be distorted…reduce the audio output/volume on the auxiliary device until good audio quality is obtained.
- I sometimes loose the HD mode on an AM HD station.
Many of the AM HD stations stop broadcasting at sunset and normally resume at sunrise. You could experience a loss of HD mode on AM HD radio stations during this time. This will vary by location and broadcaster. Suggest that you contact the station in question and check with them on their broadcast hours.
